Starting up a series of blog posts where I introduce all the characters from TAPAS's upcoming series Keys & Kingdoms: The Choices.
The Keys & Kingdoms universe is an intended gaming setting that combines the feel of typical Dungeons & Dragons-style high fantasy with those of a Disney fairytale musical!
As in any typical RPG adventure, The Choices is about a group of random adventurers from vastly different walks of life, banding together on a whim and ending up in serious conflict with a dangerous, potentially world-ending adversary. This work of not-quite-animation has a teaser in progress!
Spoiler warning: While this presentation will try to avoid any details about backgrounds, plotlines, or relationships in order to focus entirely on the characters and not give away the story, some details that might be considered spoilers will inevitably leak through now and then.
Let's start with the main characters: the adventuring party we call "the Choices", and their main nemesis.
This official character art is in the process of being upgraded as the production goes on, but for now I wanted to display the slightly-outdated versions for posterity!
